Cold - dark, unwelcoming - terrible food and London priced drinks, much of which was unavailable !
Don't go, unless you are a masochist.

We have a caravan in Stanhope and have had many a meal in the Bay House Wolsingham, and i have to say every meal we have had has been beautiful, great staff and very friendly.
Well worth a visit..
