we visited Dunvegan Castle on 2/9/09 and paid £30 entrance fee.
Thought it was a waste of money.
we were in the castle aprox. 25 mins and apart from portraits there was very little to see and found the castle very tatty and it looked unkempt.
We did encounter a lady in a kilt and twin set carrying a yorkshire terrier, we did smile at her but she just glared back and looked at us as if she had something nasty on the bottom of her shoe.
If this is the sort of welcome visitors can expect dont bother people, save your money
