Cardross, Glasgow
Review of Cardross by Ian Clarke on December 22nd, 2009
I was born in Cardross in 1948 in a wee room above what is now the local chemist shop.
Went to school in the old school and then the new primary.
Remember when we all played in the streets and in the woods till it was dark. I have fond memories of time spent as a youngster in the village.
Brit Quote: Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all the animals - George Orwell More Quotes
