Cleveland and Teesside Reports
Middlesbrough, Cleveland and Teesside

stayed at the thistle hotel and was not impressed at all - ok for travelling salesmen and the like, but found the room i was in was to close to the town centre and the noise from pub revellers and the A66 too noisy. Spotted the mayor in the lift -wonder who is paying his bill? - would not reccomend staying there and suggest premier inns instead, must be cheaper than the £70-80 a night it cost for a room

I was pleasently surprised, especially with the new MIMA art gallery. Stewart park with the Captain cook museum was excellent, so too was the grand Ormesby hall. The surounding countryside, which includes the stunning cleveland hills are packed with hidden gems.

its is the birth place of captain cook, paul daniels, chubby brown, ridley scott, brian clough and the guy off the nationwide adverts 'new customers only'.
