A pleasant place to visit at any time of year. Went to the races last year, and again this year.
Stayed at the Beverley Arms. One of the best hotels around. The White Horse Inn was very quaint, but had a warm welcome. I cannot wait to come again.

Great racecourse. Spectacular Minster. Some of the best pubs in Yorkshire, especially the White Horse. Recommend a visit to anyone.

Beverley is a place where I keep coming back to, ever since I visited the racecourse in 1995. Its Minster dominates the area, and its history. One of my favourite haunts is the White Horse Inn, with its gas lighting and olde world atmosphere. The beer's cheap too. You won't catch me sitting on a beach all day. I might even retire here.
