Disappointed with hotel entered at back door, carpet grubby and neglected looking.given room with no mirror, chair and bed pushed up against wall.husband banged head and arm twice during night,it may have been a three quarter bed.Sink in toilet extremely small not big enough to wash hands in and shower head not working properly.Wish we booked elsewhere ,don't be fooled by websites. This hotel is run down and in need of major facelift.looks like it is being used by oil rig ?marine workers.who get up very early in morning as was awakened at approx 5am and later heard car engine starting. We were lucky to have 4hrs sleep. Also don't expect toast rack as bread in bag and toast yourself with a toaster that 2others said took ages. All in all a very disappointing experience.

This is not a hotel by any means it is a workmens hostel for overnighters only
I was booked in with a large group of my colleagues and the room on was expected to stay in was completely smoked to death with nicotine stained walls and the delightfull odour of workmens boots and sweaty bodies. This is not the hotel described as a fine eatery and extensive wine list all I can say is workmens B & B with bar !!!!!!!!!

I would like to say that the people who run this lovely hotel, are some of the most friendly, help ful and generous people I have ever met.
I didn't stay at the hotel, I was doing a radio competiton to win my dream wedding. I had£10 and had to get as many miles away from Guildford. surrey. I was lucky enough to get to the lovely towm of Invergordon and be welcome into the marine hotel at 7am(after a cold 4hrs at the station.) Myself and my 2 chaperones were given tea and the most delicious fry up.
Iwould recommend this town and hotel to everyone, its a beautiful part of the would.
