Good Points: Helpfulness of staff and hotel location.
Bad Points: No car parking arrangements and room on top floor - no lifts!
General Review: Would like to have known about lack of lift and being on top floor. also thought that hotel had adjacent restaurant, which it used to have. However, staff were very willing to help with luggage.

General Review: The Christopher North House Hotel is a small, hotel which has the advantage of being relatively secluded but is still only a short walk from the centre of Edinburgh. It is elegantly furnished and decorated and the staff were welcoming and always very pleasant. Our room was cleaned efficiently and we have nothing but the highest commendation for the general standards within the hotel. Breakfast is a problem because the dining room is small but the staff try to deal with this as efficiently as possible and although we had some minor problems in getting exactly what we had ordered, these were always corrected on request.
