Staff very professional and very helpful. Setting and ambience excellent .Restaurant is well worth a visit.

A very pleasant stay. Slightly old-fashioned feel to the hotel, with plenty of wood panelling and quirky architecture. Room had old-fashioned plumbing with large bath, but shower that was a pain to use. Not many facilities, but nice touches throughout. Felt a bit like going back in time, but in the nicest way. Staff very helpful and friendly. Have seen mixed reviews, but during our stay, food was absolutely first class with fresh ingredients cooked perfectly. By no means cheap, but nothing in the area is. Would book it again.

we stayed one night in a delux room & had dinner. Postives - a very pleasant hotel- a smart room & good food. Negatives - none
