The Hotel is situated in a good position with nice views over the solent with its many comings and goings of various sea going vessels. We were greeted in a friendly and professional manner by the reception staff . Our room (standard) was clean and well fitted out considering this is a 3 stare hotel , the main body of the hotel was very homely and pleasant to be in, with a relaxing ambiance seamlessly radiating from within. The restaurant has wonderful views over the solent which during a radiant sunset become even more wonderful , a very pleasant place to wine and dine indeed.
We found the food to be good and plenty full and not bad value for money however if you wish to take wine with your food do take the time to check the price of you particular choice, as we did find the charging to be a little over the top. We cant fault the staff in any way they were all very helpful and attentive.
All in all ….A nice place to be
