Cold bedroom, waited ages for breakfast. Short staff and the staff working need more training.

Good Points: Excellent Hotel which I will use again. Restaurant was very good and good value for the quality supplied. Hotel was very quiet with only 2 other people eating in the restaurant. Maybe this was because it was a Wednesday. I will recommend this hotel to my colleagues.
Bad Points: Nothing

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly service in this atmospheric family run hotel.
I stayed in a newly refurbished room with excellent spotless bathroom and really enjoyed the a la carte menu - the black pudding with caramelied onions and lancashire hot pot were to die for!
I have never stayed in a hotel before which not only offers broadband internet access, but will even lend you a laptop for the night!

Large, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good service. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.",Pity about the door locks which caused us some concern!,"The hotel is beautifully situated and comfortable despite refurbishing in progress. The 'barman' was particularly helpful.
We enjoyed the overnight stay very much. Breakfast was very good and service also very good."
