my wife + cousin + wife were caravanning @ Whitecliff Bay and we had a few days bad weather.barbies were out so we ventured into Bembridge is search of good food.
We came across the Windmill and found a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. My wife is disabled and we are all in 60's.
we enjoyed a full lunch and the ladies were afforded thier small differences in choice.
The staff were very accommadating, nothing was a bother and we returned that evening and enjoyed the best gammon steaks, a good wine was available @ very reasonable prices.
We returned for evening meals on two further occasions one of which was the sunday Carvery, brilliant, unfortunately more people turned up than was anticipated but the staff cheerfully rallied round and madse our meal exciting. attendance upon guests wether singly, couples, foursomes or family groups was no problem for the cheerfull staff.
One waitress even took us on a tour of the accomadation which we all agreen was worthy of an AA 5 star.
We will be back with caravans later and we will definitely be supping at the Windmill again and again.
The Windmill far outshines other eating establishments in Bembridge.
