We went to Grace Neills and had a great meal!!!!! Their was nine of us altogether and it was very busy for a Sunday night. The service was very good and the meals were fantastic!!!!! We had come over from England to celebrate a wedding and will be back this year.I'm sure we will be eating and drinking in there again.

I have to agree with David's review (Nov 05)re atmosphere and rude (some) staff, but unfortunately some of the rude staff may be owners/managers and this says it all about attitude and overall service.
I have to disagree with David about Pier 36 (based on several recent visits), which has good value, excellently sourced, cooked and presented food , great atmosphere and efficient welcoming staff.

Oh dear, what can the matter be with Grace Neill's? Have the mighty fallen? I hadn't been back (due to working abroad) since last Summer when I found the food to be a welcome change to what was on offer from Master Jeffers. The food was better priced, had a better more 'approachable' selection and was more down to earth. My return last week blew that all out of the water
Prices have gone back up
Food is plain old fashioned boring
Atmosphere non existent
Staff in bar area (in particular) just downright rude (What's with all the old men tending bar?)
Try Pier 36 down the road, ok the food's pretty bad, but the atmosphere's better by tenfold.
