I reckon we got deal of the century in this large and impressive art deco hotel. Its been refurbished quite recently and still enjoys that fresh feeling and the reasonable rates caused a lively atmosphere in the bar - so much so in fact that on one night we didnt venture out! Service was charming if a touch erratic (often the case in very large hotels I find), breakfast good and about as centrally located as you can get - certainly for the price.
