I contacted the Olive Tree by telephone and spoke to Somaia, who was very friendly and particularly helpful. Made placing an order very easy. Definitely recommend.

Sheila Hamilton was right in her review of The Olive Tree! Except ... it is at 61 RENSHAW STREET, opposite Rapid's main Tool Store. Since Sheila's visit it has developed even further with things Moroccan, New Age, Spiritual and so many sensory experiences! There is no pressure to buy but the prices are such good value and if they don't have something you want they are happy to try to find it for you. They have an osCommerce website now www.theolivetree.co.uk Altogether it is an experience not to be missed. A 'must' on your Liverpool visit itinerary.

Tucked towards the end of Bold Street (oppositie end to Liverpool Central) this shop would be quite easy to miss were it not for the delicious incensy smell emanating out of it. It's a small shop with a lot of stock and very friendly staff. There are lots of books on religious and metaphysical subjects, including a generous selection of Muslim writings. The shop offers an unusual selection of greetings cards, also ornaments. Best of all, I was delighted to find that the Olive Tree stocks Star Child products : essential oils, herbs, space aromas and, yes, the best incense around. Altogether, a good experience.
