Owner Rob and his partners were friendly and very professional.
However, the cleaners were very rude; who does not speak two words of English. I stayed for a week, I was shocked to discover that the cleaners do not clean the room floor.

Possibly the worst B&B I have ever stayed in, and as a contractor who travels around the country I have stayed in a lot. The staff were either rude and unaccomadating or simply didn't speak English. When I opened the door to my bedroom, it opened into the bathroom, which you then walk through to get into the bedroom. I say bedroom, but cupboard would be more appropriate as there was room for a bed but that was about it. If you want to leave early they wont give you a refund, even if you give them three days notice (which every B&B I have ever stayed in has done), so I paid for a night that I didn't even sleep in the hotel. I'm unsure as to why they say that they are renowned for their breakfast, as it was terrible. On my first morning I spent my entire breakfast listening to a member of staff shouting and swearing at the chef because they had not cooked something correctly. Also, the entire building looked like it hadn't been vacuumed since some time in the mid 80's. £42 per night for a single room can get you a lot more than this. I am definitely going to avoid this B&B in the future, and I suggest you do the same.

Good Points: Ease of access to business venue, and seafront. Warm, comfortable and welcoming.
Bad Points: The bed - it was very large and comfortable, but appeared to slope slightly resulting in me spending part of the night with the impression I was about to fall out! That apart, the bed linen was immaculate and again, the bed was very comfortable - listing to starboard apart.
General Review: I found only one waste bin (in the toilet) a bit of a nuisance. Also although the cost of £75 per room is not excessive, nonetheless a box of tissues and a few more 'homely' touches would not have gone amiss. As a grumble, but not a real complaint, a few more tea bags and perhaps a small packet of biscuits would have been a nice touch.
