Good Points: Excellent full English breakfast. Friendly welcome, and generally friedly staff.
Bad Points: Overpriced, especially for a January night, even more so in a recession.
General review: Would have liked to stay for 2 nights but at £99.00 a night it is too expensive. I only live one hour and a half away so can go back on the train; it would be nice to find a weekend retreat to come regularly to, but not at this price.

Wallpaper peeling off walls, paint peeling of ceiling, shower faulty. Nice pub, restaurant and friendly staff. Not quite the standard I hoped for overall.

Great rooms, well decorated, superbly located. Fantastic value for money.
