we was shown to our pitch area; settled in quickly; pitch size is very good; allowing distance form neighbour;
toilet blocks next to showers but in seperate rooms; which i prefer; keeping loos dry & clean; showers free plus hairdryer free in toilet area; they also have some very clean & bright looking unisex showers, these seemed very spacious; ideal for family's;
Disabled / baby room; free to use tho key is by deposit which you get back on key return; this has a proper baby change unit with plenty of space; for babies items and a baby bath is located under the unit; this is the best baby changing room, i have seen / used so far!
Swimming pool with sunloungers is screened; making this feel private & also a good windbreak! tho swimming pool is unheated; plenty of children play areas for them to let of steam;
laundry area; plus information room for things to do; shop with basic supplies; i was a little bit dissapointed with this on arrival; but when you discover their are so many supermarkets within such a short distance; i now understand why they only have the basics;
wildlife; we enjoyed watching a pair of buzzards which had set up nest;
Staff and owners very friendly & helpfull; would we go again? definatly!

First impressions of the site were great, it looked lovely driving through the wooded part of the caampsite. We were pitched in one of the smaller fields which we were fine with. Older kids and younger kids playgrounds were good, and they also enjoyed the small arcade.
Would i stay there again? No, i'm afraid not. Toilets were dirty with wash basin taps that dont want to work (although cleaned daily, it was mostly down to the people using them.)The showers were terrible, unless you were one of the lucky ones to use a block of 4 newer ones. Bins were overloaded with rubbish falling out and left for the whole week we were there. Not sure if there was a wasps nest near us, but you couldnt keep th etent door open, the insect net had to be done up, or you would get a tent full of the things.
I must say the final straw came when someone was allocated the pitch next to us, which instead of putting the car there, decided to put the tent in the place and the guide ropes for ours and theirs were interlinked because they were so close. They then parked the car in front of our tent door, so we had enough space to put the door up and that was it! Were the staff interested? No
