Stayed here with my young family for a cousin's wedding. What a fantastic venue, I felt liked I'd walked onto the set of a period drama. The children loved exploring in the gardens and arboretum, especially finding an unexpected tree swing or gipsy caravan. We went boating on the lake, cycling around the estate and riding up to Bury Ditches and that was all before the wedding started. The gardens were glorious and the Ballroom looked magnificent - with great accoustics for the speaches and singing later! The accommodation was bursting with character, we had a large family room on the top floor of the hall itself which was very comfortable and so exciting for the children. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone, and you don't need to wait until you're invited to a wedding.
