I first visited this site in early January 2009 when the place was quite deserted and the weather was very cold all to be expected at that time of the year. However I was sufficiently impressed to return to the site in late june/july 2009 for a 2 week holiday which in the main, proved most enjoyable. The new toilet block is most impressive. The daily maintenance is of a simialar standard- first class throughout my entire stay.Although I have to say that on the odd occasion this was marred by the inconsideration of fellow campers who decide to wash up dishes in the early hours of the morning, creating noise and disturbance to others and leaving a mess in the sinks etc. Must be most dishartning to the cleaning staff to come into the following morning especially so considering the standards they maintain whilst they are on duty during the day!On my experience I would avoid a pitch to close to the facillity blocks if you are a light sleeper.Generally this is a friendly well run site for families and couples. There is a certain amount of noise caused by tractors moving about the site which can be annoying if you are sited close to the roadways. The shop stocks a wide range of camping equipment, drystuffs etc but is lacking in fresh foods, fruit etc. ALL of the staff were most helpful and I plan to return shortly. I would give bagwell 8 out of 10
