this was the date we should of been going, with two friends, we had each booked a touring pitch, however due to friends husbands unforseen illness, we are not able to go. I phoned up to cancel! as before all I got was somebody who was not only pleasant over the phone, as they had been when I booked it, but genorously said they would carry our deposit over for us!, shock horror pleasant and accomodating, this is not the norm!. If the site is as good as owners are helpful, can't wait to try it when friend has recouperated.

This site is probably one of the best on the east coast or would be if it was run properly. The trouble with this site is that in the cold months of the season the electricity supply is constantly tripping out across the whole site and has been a problem for years. It goes off for hours on end and is very frustrating, especially if your trying to cook a meal or having a shower. In high season the site gets very busy and there is just not enough showers and they are always cold. It's a shame as the owner Mark is a very nice chap and he runs the club well with usually good entertainment. If he could sort the electricity supply problem and extend the shower block the site would be the best. Due to our previous visits we will not be returning, a great shame, like i said, this should be the best site!

We did not enjoy our stay on this site, glad it was only for 3 days, main concern was the toilet and showers, never cleaned while we were there, disgusting smell also coming from manhole covers near toilet block ,thankfully we were in a caravan but how people in tents coped is beyond me.definately would not recomend this site and we will not be going again.

big field to camp on and as much space as needed.big complaint about showers though £1 for a shower what lasted under 4 min should be 5 min which is the dearest i have EVER came across and have been camping for 20 years now.i will not be coming back to this site again.i never see a cleaner in toilet block and there is only 2 male and two female toilets and showers for the whole site.massive site

The site was great. The staff were so friendly and they were always willing to help you. The entertainment was fantastic, something was on every night including bingo, singers, and karaoke. The food was delicious and didnt have to wait long at all. The site has its own park, and you have to walk just 10 mins to get to the town and beach, brill! The caravans that we hired out were luxurious! They had there own telly and dvd player, and were clean and spacious for such a low price! I reccommend this site to anyone, as there is something for all. The views are great as it is in the countryside, which is a great place to get away. Such a great holiday!

It was a good job that we had good weather, As we had to park on a field which would of turned very muddy when wet. No hard standing or road to follow. There should be more toilets and showers for the amount of people that can be on the site. They were dirty and they wasn't cleaned enough .They didn't even leave a mop to mop up after yourself. The floors were dangerous.he showers were 50p each. One shower lasted 4 minutes. Had to go back and wash hair in the sink. Didn't last long enough to have a wash. supposed to last 5 minutes. Rip off. There was no problem with booking in.The owners didn't come accross as friendly, Not like thier grounds man who went out of his way .Weather was brilliant though.
