This was our first ever camping experience, and we loved it.We have a 5 year old boy who absolutly loved the woodlands and the fishing. We loved it so much we are taking some friends there in July. very clean, spacious and value for money.

Lovely site, as the reviewer said, yet a large number of very rowdy children spoiled our stay. We also have children but these children were still running around screaming at 11.15pm, and fighting next to the tent where our children were sleeping. No control by parents and no support by those running the site. Shame.

Not to be confused with with walton site, this one is in Battle, Sussex. If you want peace and quiet, I.E. no clubhouse etc, you'll love this site. Friendly staff, helpful and understanding. There is a well stocked fishing pond. Showers cost twenty pence, I got bored waiting for it to go cold on me! Toilets always found to be clean. basic provisions available at camp shop. Lovely woodland walk. I don't know about acres, but this isn't a big site. Been back three times. Good value for money. Definitely visit again.
