Not sure how to sum up this campsite. Maybe by saying what a weird place it was! Firstly i have to point out there is no shop as we saw advertised on their website. I can't say the people working there were rude, But for better words "rather odd". After arriving and my partner handing over the money we were tempted just to drive off and forget the £13. We were asked to stay next to the owners lodge and opposite that there were police (I believe maybe using one of the lodges). Not a good way to make you feel relaxed, I thought we had entered the twilight zone. How on earth it got 3 stars i'm not sure. The toilets were ok, Basic as you would expect on a campsite. I'm pleased i didn't take our children as the play area was filthy. My mouth dropped open on viewing it, Followed by a short fit of laughter (the nervous type you get through unexpected shock). Not fit for kids, It's a complete mess. I felt so uncomfortable there that we literally just pitched up, Went out, Woke up then went into the village for food then left!

We both stayed here for a few weeks and will go back there again,it is a very quit site yes you can hear the trains if the wind is blowing the wrong way but it adds to the country side along with all the wild life which makes more noise then the trains,planes,cars which is very nice when you get up in the morning you can see the rabbits and more. We fined the ownrs very frenidly and happy helped us alot with were things are ie shops,pubs. There is not alot of things to do a play pack for the kids a smill kitchen two showres for men and lades. Dogs are welcome but need to keep them on a led but lets face it, that dose not matter as if you go to any were it is the same. We would say that it is a very nice guit and relaxed site.

Excellent little site in a brilliant location! Other reviews moan about trains to be heard and loud owners, but we heard nothing of the sort!
Okay every now and then you'd hear a train horn, but you would barely notice with the wind rustling through the trees next to our pitch!
The owner is brilliant, really good considering a group of 12 teenagers were on the site! (This is the only site we have been accepted on)
Very flat site with LOOOOOOADS of room to choose your pitch! (Each with electric hookup).
However couple downsides, but not major issues:
The showers are strange, one of them is boiling hot and the other is freezing cold! Yes there is only two of them. Not really an issue, but when you've got 12 teenagers wanting a shower its a long process! (Also note to owner, hairdryers would be a good thing to have in Male bathroom. Might be strange but even just one in there would cause so much less hassle!!
Also, the campsite jumps up onto you from the main road through Barnham. (lovely little village) however then exiting the site with a car packed full of 5 people cramped up with no rear visibility in a little engined car can be quite a challenge when you cant see around the corner!
However, absolutely brilliant shops in Barnham village (trading post is excellent value! Buy a good quality pan for about £2 then chuck it, saves weight and money in long run!) Food mega cheap too, loads of parking..
Direct route through to Bognor Regis too on train, although we took the cars and was easy enough to find! Pubs on the road too, and there is Pizza Huts and a lot more just down a short dual carriageway.
So all in all, excellent site for first time campers, owner is real nice, and a brilliant location.
Don't listen to a lot of the reviews on this site, listen to mine! Courtney Cambellwoods review from April was our first visit to this site and as you can see, she praises it a lot too!

We decided to have a last minute weekend away with some friends to make a nice end to the school holidays so looked up campsites near Bognor and found The Lillies Caravan Park! I phoned the site on the Thursday to check that there were pitches available and the owner was very polite and was happy to take a very short notice booking for the following day with no trouble! We arrived Friday afternoon (3 adults, 5 children and 3 well behaved dogs) and were happy to be shown to our pitches by a very friendly lady! We only stayed for 2 nights as the children had never been camping before but had an amazing time! It is quiet and friendly and has exactly what you need if camping is what you are after! The amenities are basic and by that I mean no frills as in no ghastly overpriced souvenier shop to distract the children, no horrible second rate fast food outlets or late night bars and loud noise! Hot electric showers, toilets, hairdryer etc and a basic wash up area...all you need for camping and enough to get cleaned up for a day down to the seafront!! Barnham village has all you could need and an excellent shop called the Trading Post so no need for any large supermarket chain!! A great time was had by all and the children were more than happy enjoying the experience of camping, the fresh air and playing with the other children there! It seemed very secure and we felt so safe! Will be going back for longer next year!!!!

The first thing I saw was the log cabins which from the outside looked very nice, and gave a very false impression. The road leading up to the campsite itself looked like a junkyard! The grassed area was kept neat but the facilities were appalling.
We were supposed to stay three nights but the thought of using the toiets and showers again repulsed me so much I cut my holiday short.
The owner seemed very unfriendly,only speaking to me when I first arrived to tell me how much it was and to follow him while he showed me my pitch.

This campsite is situated in the perfect location! close to shops and the trainstaion which leads straight to bognor regis beach. The campsite itself was clean and tidy, very well kept and the owners pleasent. The only downside was the condition of the toilets and showers as they could do with renovating and a good scrub. Otherwise a pleasent campsite where we really enjoyed our stay.

October 13th/15th…..I am a seasoned camper of many years, and every so often I find a site which I call a jewel, The Lillies Caravan Park is one jewel!
My companions and I travelled from the Midlands to see Arundel Castle and the Cathedral, we notified the lady owner we would be late, when we arrived she was there waiting, all cheerful and she had the caravan was all ready with bedding and sheets as we had ordered.
Yes, she laid down some park rules, but I appreciated that, since everybody then knew where we all stood (without rules, anarchy reigns!) however with the rules then came useful information as to where everything was in relation to the site, we felt the sincerity from the owner, which was really most refreshing in today’s world
The park itself isn’t big, however, it isn’t small either, it is exceptionally clean and well maintained, yes…some items are older, and maybe….slightly ageing, I felt this added to the more relaxed glamour of this site, all things don’t have to be plastic and shiny to work, providing they work! The are ample play areas for children, there are also some well laid out shrubberies areas which breaks the normal regimented lay out of most caravan sites
In conclusion, this is a well maintained tranquil site, with plenty of local amenities nearby..(Farm with home produce) and a wonderful village store
No…. it doesn’t boast a lively and noisy club house…No it doesn’t require security patrols…if you want all that try the bigger sites….I prefer a undisturbed sleep…and by the way…noisy trains and aircraft noises?.... somebody is kidding somebody!
Now just to set questions straight, this is my first visit to this park…..I do not know the site owners, however, I will have no issue to visit again
A well thought out and sheltered, mature site Good value for money!

As the "lady owner" of The Lillies Caravan Park", I would like to point out that my role in running our park is purely in reception - it is, therefore,
impossible for me to be "rude to everyone at any possible occasion". What Mr.Rawlins omitted to say, in his review, was that he and his party
were almost 2 hours late in departing from our park, having left and then re entered the park to use the showers - he obviously took exception to having this pointed out to him.
The campsite is clean and tidy. The other parties staying there all seemed to be pleasent and friendly. There is a small play area which looked nice.
The proprietor could not have been less helpful nor more rude. This would really put me off staying here again and I would recommend all others to beware! There were 3 parties staying that said the same thing without being prompted. It is a real shame, but in some ways the attitude of the lady running this site spoilt the weekend for me. We were not rude, nor loud, nor did we upset any other party on the site. She was just rude to everyone at any possible occasion.

Very poor site. Facilities not too clean and at the end of their life.
People running the place were moody and rude and not very friendly.
All in all very expensive for what you are getting - best part was the pub down the road on the left.
Noisy trains going through village and flight noise from planes heading into gatwick I believe

The site is tidy and as I am an early riser, I noticed every morning, around 6am, that the owners of the site were always busy tending to various jobs and the toilet facilities were always cleaned thoroughly and the walkways always clear... A quiet site indeed and no problems at all with anyone. Dogs allowed as long as they are kept on the lead... Several caravaners had their faithfull pet with them and the dogs were always under control... I recommend this site for anyone who wants a nice break with no hassle... There are no facilities such as a club room or bar area on this site, if you wanted those type of facilities available, then this is not the site for you BUT if you want a nice clean respectable site to enjoy your break, then this is a nice one to book.

A small pleasant campsite. The main wash and toilet facilities looked newly refurbished and were clean and smart. The management had a firm policy of no guests and visitors are required to read and agree a set of (sensible) rules before entering the site. Quiet except for the occasional train on the nearby line.

Very run down facilities and not very clean. They have up a notice about vandalism but it seems no effort has been made to keep caravans in storage safe. It seems the site may be sold shortly hopefully new owners will bring this site up to the standard that caravanners today want.
