Samaras Manor was amazing. I was in Appartment/Flat number 2.
Our apartment was right attached to the Horses stables. I was going for a walk EVERY morning and EVERY lunch when the tourists were there. And of course every evening to feed the ducks.
You may have came across the three muskateers. Well the year befor I came to Jersey I stayed in a hotel and had a day visit to the gardens. Then I came across two Beutiful Black Swans. This year when I came to stay in the Manor in the appartments I found 3 of them. They enjoy eating the grass when they are on the ground and I came across an idea. I sat at the bank and threw grass in. They immediatly came over and ate it. Soon I had them followin me because I had bread. They ate out of my hand and I soon won over my trust as I got to feel there lovely fetahers. When I left I came over to them and they walked straight over I got to stroke them and say I final good bye. Then thats when I named the 3 Muskateers and I will never forget them. I all give them a kiss. Remarkable creatures they are when you get to know them. Also I loved the little pony Merlin. What a lovely boy he is. Kimono is a beutiful mule and very moody bout when I start to talk to him and get into him he is lovely. Percy the carthorse is very laid back but I gave him some hay and he is lovely.

It was my last day in Jersey before returning home.I couldn't have had a more enjoyable day it felt like I was given a leaving present. Your gardens are spectacular and enthralling. I enjoyed
every minute of the 5 hours I walked around the grounds and the lunch was enjoyable too.I took photographs of the grounds so I have a lasting reminder of the different aspects and wonderful planting. I was disappointed not to be able to go round the inside of the Manor-the times of viewing are a little restricted but maybe I will visit.PLEASE could you let me know where I could purchase the Rose named Champayne which is cream in colour. Thanks you.
