This small cinema seats 120 in the main auditorium and 40 in the Studio. Despite its size, the sheer breadth of films on offer is simply astonishing. Films from all over the world are excellently chosen by artistic director Roger Gibson who visits all the major European film festivals to ferret out some of the best on offer.During the 18 day film festival which is due to start on August 19, there are no less than 90 films to see, film directors, actors and producers to meet. The opening film, an English Premiere, is The Illusionist by Sylvain Chomet (Belleville Rendez Vous), the closing gala film Made in Dagenham starring Bob Hoskins. In between there is a Kurosawa Retrospective, a Colin Firth one, one visit including Nick Moran, actor and director of The Kid with Rupert Friend. He'll be in conversation with Derek Malcolm, Evening Standard film critic. It's a really delightful, friendly film festival and is said to be the largest on the South Coast. Unmissable.

Our visit to becky falls made for a beautiful day, the walks are wonderful and vary from suitable for all the family (our favourite as you follow the stream and see animals en route) to steeper climbs for more adventourous visitors! The children loved taking part in the nature trail and feeding the lambs. We would reccomend it to anyone
