Good Points: breakfast was good and it was on a busy bus route into Edinburgh which made travel easy.
Bad Points: Had to pay cash as their credit card machine wasn't working. This was disappointing. What if we hadn't had any spare cash?
General review: Wouldn't stay there again. There are lots of hotels and b&bs in the area - would select a different one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. John and heather are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is of excellent quality and ample quantity. The bar is small and friendly (just how we like it!) with an opportunity to meet different people from other countries. It is clear that Jon and heather know what families need as the hotel is very family orientated. The owners have a good knowledge of local attractions and are always ready with suggestions of how to spend your holiday time. We love it (the five times we have been here this year alone speak for themselves!!)
