Myself and my Boyfriend had picked this hotel as we was attending a wedding at nearby Waddesdon Manor that Sat evening. Upon entering our room i soon discovered what appeared to be a cockroach in the bathroom..i wanted to complain and change rooms, but my calm and collective boyfriend suggested to forget it and if we spot more bugs then we would say something. In the space of 10mins we also discovered that our toilet didn't flush properly...anyway early that evening we decided to watch the England game in the bar and was feeling peckish after a couple of drinks so we asked for a bowl of chips to which the chef responded with 'Sorry guys the fryers broken'...No worries we thought and one of the bar staff offered us crisps instead, but another staff memeber said they don't sell crisps!?! at this point we just smiled and thought what a load of idiots and took our drinks back to the room. On Leaving for the wedding my boyfriend poked his head into the restaurant area and spotted 2 guests having a meal which included chips! we was only told 90mins beforehand that we couldn't have any..So i asked the chef at reception who was standing with the other two muppets if the fryer was still broken, he replid 'yes' so my boyfriend said 'well there's 2 people having food with chips right now?' to which one of the staff members jumped in and said that it was working again! you could imagine our fury...i wished we had booked the travelodge now!!
