Good Points: short walk from Porth Beach and close to Newquay. General review: Had a fantastic room which overlooked the beach, room was nice and clean. Will definitely consider staying there again

The Windward Hotel is quite simply one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. The standard of the rooms and the breakfasts are second to none. As for the warm welcome, superb, your host Roy makes you feel like one of the family as soon as you arrive. The two suites have wonderful views over Porth Beach. Also enjoying these views is the bar. A well-stocked bar with balcony overlloking the bay is aboput as close to heaven as you can get. But don't take my word for it, just go yourself and you'll see what I mean. My wife Lisa, son Jake and I are going again this August and we just can't wait.
