I needed a B and B close to Heathrow because of a very early flight the next morning. The Cottage Guest House offers excellent value for money. My room was spotlessly clean, with a comforatble bed. The en-suite shower/toilet was very clean, with fluffy fresh towels and hot water.
Although I had booked a single room (49.50 pounds) in advance I called ahead because I was going to be later than I had anticipated. Senora Bermudez assured me that she would keep the room. I was arriving at Heathrow and she recommended the mini taxi and the #s 105 or 111 buses from Heathrow. She told me to be sure that the bus driver put me off at a pub called the Jolly gardener (next door to her guest house) The bus took only about 10 - 12 minutes. I checked in and paid, when she heard I was leaving at 05.00 the next morning, she put me into a large family room downstairs to be sure I did not disturb other guests when I left. A thoughtful gesture.
I only wish were leaving later so that I could have enjoyed the breakfast. Senor and Senora Bermudez are to be commended on offering such good value close to Heathrow airport.
