Good Points: Staff were very friendly and room was clean. The bathroom was a good size. Bad Points: The toilet fell apart when I sat on it (both parts of the seat broke off) - I fell across the bathroom, hitting the bath before hitting the floor. I injured my knee and bruised my hip. The staff admitted they couldn't mend it before we left the following day - they did not offer a different room, which I thought they should. The window sash was broken and wouldn't open (it was a very hot weekend,so this was unfortunate). The air con made a lot of noise and there was a lot of noise in general - fortunately I had earplugs. My fiance didn't and had a very poor night's sleep. The car park was not large enough for the hotel and we were lucky to get the last space - 3 cars turned away while we were parking ours.

Good Points: Proximity to Millenium Stadium and all bars, eateries, etc. Bad Points: price of the breakfast. General review: The purpose of our weekend away was to have a few beers and attend the Wales vs Ireland soccer match. The Angel Hotel was perfect for both activities. Staff were extremely friendly, courteous and on occassion actively went out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. The location of the hotel is ideal and the cleaniness of the room exemplarary. In short, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
