Booked on the internet.Photo on the net was very old.Place very dark and gloomy, rooms very small.Should be listed as bed and breakfast, not a hotel.Expensive even for a bed and breakfast.Would not stay here again.

Good Points: staff was good and polite and efficient.
Bad Points: THe outlook of the hotel on the internet and building and rooms in the pictures is deceiving from the real building. Rooms are absolutely cold and squashed no room for a couple. television was 20 year old .. no parking space as well. the rooms and place looks gloomy and dark and not bright like a hotel should look. It should be advetised as a bed and breakfast and not a hotel .. hotels are usually modern and standards are usually high and bright with a stae of the art look and modern outlook.. not dark and gloomy very squashed rooms and the beds were to small for a double size ime and husband had to sleep separate. To high priced for the value. it was not vlaue for money and enjoyable or relaxing. i have stayed in better hotels in places like india and africa compare to the one in great britain.
General review: I only checked in at 1am to use it for sleeping and had to get up before 9am to have tea and breakfast and then check out was at 11am. I did stay for another 2 nights in Bolton but chekced into a different hotel a proper hotel and not a bed and breakfast type at the same price of £55. I like modern loks bright white paint and linen which is comfortable looking and cosy. WIth a modern bathroom. Unfortunately i will never book on internet as one can get mislead to buy bad things without a real look at the purchase.
