We've just come back from our romantic weekend away celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary & couldn't praise Tintagel Arms enough! Great location, just before the Old Post Office, close to the famous ruins of Tinatgel Castle, very, very clean place, comfortable beds, so quiet at night we both slept like babies. Breakfast - full English - cooked to perfection, but there's a choice of cereals too, friendly owners, nothing to much for them. We initially booked a four poster bed but were informed that room was double booked. The owner refunded the money with a small compensation & gave us a lovely double room instead. The only very little complaint we may have is that there was no connection to internet in spite of Sharon giving us the password to wifi. I guess it was more of a general thing as there was a poor coverage in the whole village. If we ever go back to north Cornwall we will definitely stay in this hotel & would highly recommend it to all our friends.

Brilliant stay, brilliant food, hospitality, in fact everything was BRILLIANT. Lee and Sharon are fantastic hosts and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Their staff like themselves take a great pride in their work and it shines through in the way that they deal with and serve their customers. This is one place my partner and I will be returning to......SOON.

We had previously visited this pub before and we where bitterly dissapointed, however it looked so nice from the outside now, we decided to give it a go and wow what a transformation, The owners have taken it back and completely turned it around. It's fresh clean and the decor is amazing. We ate in the restaraunt the service the food was absolutly spot on, our every need was tended too, Talking to the waitress who told us about the fresh fish where it came from and how it tasted was a delight. We chatted with the owners after our meal they where so friendly. We will be back and wish the owners and staff all the best for the coming future. Dave and Paula south sheilds.

The Tintagel Arms has had a major make over since our first visit earlier in 2010, apparently it’s now under new management and it really shows, it has a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful decor and very friendly staff..... But the food really has to be tried; I can honestly say it’s one of the best pub/restaurants we have visited for many years. We will be coming back next year!

A bit of a disappointment. If you like your garlic with food then you will be fine and take a chisel to break your pastry. Not the worst place that I have visited this year but certainly not the best.

WOW! loved it.... long time ago, I visited Tintagel and had a lunch at the tintagel arms, to be honest it was not the best that we had... So this time we went back for a remainder of souvenirs and WOW! it's all change! Foods is better, the atmosphere is light and friendly, and the bar tender is just so great!!! actually all the staff was wonderful... good service with a little bit of Je ne sais quoi!!!

The pub is at the top end of the village and does not look much from the outside and nor on the inside, dingy, dirty and full of foul mouthed locals. The only thing this place had going for it was the girl working the bar, who tried to make light of my dreadful beer. Didnt stay long and wont be going back.
