Arrived at the pub at 12:45 on a Saturday lunch time. The lights were off and it looked shut, but when we tried the door it was open. The landlord didn't look too pleased to see us as he was watching something on the tv. We ordered 4 pints, all of which were served under a pint, and when we asked for them to be topped up it all seemed too much trouble. We took our drinks outside as it was too dark and gloomy to sit inside. The beer was in bad condition and all the glasses were dirty. In short, don't waste your time making your way to this pub. Looking back, it is no supprise that we were the only people there!

Stayed at the King George in February and had a fantastic weekend. It was great to be able to take my dog to such a dog-friendly pub, especially with the unbelievable scenery that surrounds this pub. The pub itself is full of character and the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. Service and food were very good - can't understand the earlier comments from Mr Aldridge.

Fantastic place in the most beautiful unspoilt location imaginable. Very friendly, warm and cosy. Food is pretty good, especially Breakfast. Room 1 is to die for. My Wife loved it. The views were awesome. Tremendous value for money. Stayed 4 nights and loved every minute.
