We booked a table for 8 people (6 adults and 2 children) We had an absolutely fantastic time, food was excellent quality, cooked to perfection. Everyone in our party had a lovely time, atmosphere was brilliant. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. It made my neice's birthday dinner very enjoyable and memorable. I have just booked again for Valentine Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!. Highly recommend this venue. Well done to Mike and his staff.

After hearing excellent things about the Trout we were shocked! The soup tasted like dish water, My medium rare steak came was well done and my partners chcken was very dry. The vegetables were cold which was strange as there clearly thrown in the microwave two minutes before serving!!! The herbies (Which we've had at a different local pub) were raw. No wonder there were tables available on a Saturday night! Think about before you try.

Under new management and very impressive. Our party was 8 strong and we all had varied dishes (the fish soup was delicious!). Service was prompt and friendly and knowledgeable. Very busy, so book in advance if you are going to visit. The wine is very reasonable as well - good to see the Trout back as a fine place to relax and eat.
