We stopped for lunch onnthe way back from torquay, the place was amazing, food brilliant, staff likewise and the atmosphere perfect, food good too even wine glasses were nice to drink out of and not the normal short cheap glasses, so much we are considering new years eve, although it is a distance of 150 miles, am tring to find accomadation.

We chose this venue for my mothers funeral reception mainly because of the professional & friendly attitude of the landlady, Amanda. I cannot recommend this pub too highly, everything was very well organised.

The pub is well situated, very nice inside and with friendly and very helpful staff.
But, I am afraid food was very disappointing to say the least. I have been once before and was disappointed with the food then, but I gave it a second chance and arranged to meet some friends there and again the food did not live up to the promise the pubs atmosphere gives.
Won't go again to eat.
