A small pub in a lovely, peaceful and secluded setting. The Oak Inn has a big garden which can accommodate families whilst the interior is more intimate and booking is required if you wish to eat at the pub in the evening. The staff are attentive and almost uniformly non-English, though this is no hindrance as their English is very good and they offer a friendly welcome. The food is well presented and varies from the 'Oak Doorstep' sandwich (chunky bread) to varied fish courses and steaks. The beer on tap is from the Ringwood brewey though offer tastes are accommodated. This is a pleasant, well-run pub in a lovely setting and is recommended.
