Andrew,
Hope you do well.
Suggestions:
Neil Gordon's upper prices are your lower ones. Bring your prices down by a couple of quid. You can raise them as your clientele grows.
Herefordshire people are traditionally (genetically) canny. If they sense a bargain, they'll come back again and again and recommend you to their friends. Neil used to heap their plates and keep the prices around £4-95.
Your puddings are much too expensive. This is the usual way for restaurateurs to make money but the punters have cottoned on to it. Ceck out the New Inn Pembridge, about twenty miles north of you - their puddings are a bit pricey at £3-50, but, by the time you've sated yorself on their reasonable main course, you're ready to spoil yourslef with a pudding.
Full marks for keepi g the beer below £2/pint. Keep it up (down).
Peas with cottage pie, not petit pois and definitely no chips.
Good Luck.
I mean it, cos I want to come back again and again and brig my mum next time.
