The Engineer is a lovely pub and deserves to be busy, which it was. However what used to deliver one of THE best pub meals in London served us a very average affair today. Burger tasted odd, the duck not cooked how it was stated it would be (came medium but promised medrare) and the sauce that the duck came with had little flavour. On the positive side the poached egg and hollandaise on the fishcake was perfectly cooked! Hopefully just a one off
