I just wish I'd seem Sam Arnold's review before booking for two nights accommodation. The room was comfortable enough, clean but hardly spotless and incredibly noisy because they were running live music that night. The food was poor and the attitude was "if you don't like it go elsewhere".
If you ever have the misfortune to have to stay there, then can recommend the Crown at the next village Colkirk, for friendly, efficient and decently cooked food. Judging by the trade they were doing as opposed to the lack of dining customers at the Boar, I can only think that the people from Great Ryburgh were also of the same opinion.

This pub is one of the worst I have visited recently. Poor service by rude landlords makes this public house one not to visit. The food is average at best but do expect to wait upto two hours for a bowl of chips, even when empty. I would recommend no one to visit this pub as a combination of the above, and the high prices for a below average service all make for a disappointing trip.
