This pub has been closed and for sale since January 2011 but rather shamefully has not made this fact public. None of the signage in the surrounding area advertising the pub states that it is closed or that it is for sale. Even the pub door does not have a closed sign. A great shame and an embarassment when people make the effort to come here.
Hopefully it will find a new owner and it's doors will open again
