First impression on entering was nice, it is going through a transformation, and the decor is good. The service needs to be a bit more polished, bringing one plate out at a time when there are 5 of you is a timely process, orders were mixed up. I had the cajun chicken with a sweet chilli sauce to start, which I have to say was very tasty, but a simple dish. A main of beef sunday lunch was served, and this was very disapointing, there were some roast vegatables, carrots parsnips, courgettes ( why these were there i do not know). They were burnt on the edges but completly raw ??This is hard to acheive im sure. The beef was very chewy i found it very hard to cut, my children had no chance. Also the one boiled and 2 roast potatoes were also not cooked theough, and to top it off it was served on a very cold plate, so the meal was cold. I had a chocolate brownie and strawberry kebab, this was fine, again a simple dish, the brownie was not very moist, lacked in flavour. My children had ice cream, which was lovely. My partner and his dad had crumble, which they say was average. The beer we tried xxx and 1642, was ok,i feel the whole exprience was below average, and will not be returning. I also need to mention, there are dogs on the premisis also, and are present at meal times.

great food, great beer, great service. the food i ate was freshly prepared and tasty and the beer was brewed to perfection. BBRRAAAAAP!

What a great pub/restaurant in Bishops Castle.
I found a good choice menu, although I ordered mundane fish and chips. The fish was beer battered with a sprig of parsley and slice of lemon, home made tartare sauce was deliciuos. The 'proper' chips and mushy peas were excellent.
With two bars, two contrasting eating areas and a large conservatory dining area I couldn't decide where to sit with my party. The attached brewery supplying home ales was also admired.
I hadn't been in the Three Tuns for a long time, what an improvement. Welcome to the 21st century quality,great service and comfort, still with a 17th century ambience. Must go again soon.

Bill's beer gets better and better. The locals are extremely friendly without being overbearing. Once the alterations to the conservatory and restaurant are complete then there will be nothing to match the 3Tuns for miles around. Can't wait for the Real Ale Festival in July!!!!!!!!!!
