What a lovely country pub in a lovely Somerset village!
A couple of pints sat in the beer garden on a sunny Saturday afternoon with a good quality, good value meal.
Busy day too with locals and holiday makers alike enjoying the day and making a very socialable atmosphere.
Well worth a visit.

Since being taken over this pub has really gone down hill. The decor is now sparse and does not incorporate any of the villages history, the service is poor and the menu unimaginative. I do not reccommend this at all.

Sat in the beer garden last night and had a fantastic meal and a game of Petanque (boules). What a great idea the Landlord had of putting in this pitch. It was a very civilised way of spending an evening (the bottle of red we shared went down well too!) splendid
