i am a trader. Thought would give stormy down a go. Could'nt find the place. We found stormy down sign by the road but that was it. went to bessemer road carboot to check that out instead and traders told me it should have been on that day. And did say its not well sign posted. is this true? this weekend i shall do singleton park booty. and then my fave carew market sunday pembrokeshire. i would like to try trading at stormy down but was a nightmare trying to find the place last time! www.kittyzen.co.uk may retry mid july if its on and weather is good!

Tried Stormy Down Market for the first time as a seller , it was quite busy but people are there for real bargins. I sell exclusivley new products , some of which is brand name stuff, people were offering me half wholesale price for goods. I arrived at 6:30 did not sell a thing till 8:30 then I sold a couple of low value £5 items not enough to cover the enterence fee which I thought was £14 but is in fact £25 if you stock new items. Was considering packing up by 12 but then sold a £400 125cc Pit Bike out of the blue, which was nice. I would recomend stormy down as a good market to shift cheap second hand items, or even high value items but it is not the best for selling mid ranged priced items of around £30 value people are generaly looking to spend around £10.Going to try some other markets but may come back in the summer.

Raf Stormy down as it was once known has a fab car boot sale but also loads of history, have a look at www.walesatwar.bravehost.com for further details, car boot now a lot smaller due to small industry taking over one of the ww2 hanagers, as far as paying to go in, the market is an asset to the local community and the money ensures that the market can continue despite pressures for it to close. a great site full of intresting stalls and of course ww2 history.

Went last Sunday in nice weather, probably 150+ car booters, decent market and 1000+ customers. Yes, I know it's a nuisance having to pay for the privilege of spending money but I picked up a couple of odds & ends that I'd have had to buy for my house anyway and saved £120+ !! The 50p didn't seem such a rip-off then.

I come to this boot sale, every week, and it's fab, it is 50p to get in, and a little reply to the gent who wrote a review, most boot sales charge for you to go into them now, I rate it well, on a nice day it is a great boot sale to visit.

It only costs 50p to get in, I suppose they need the money to keep the place tidy, they've cleaned up a hell of a lot there. I would reccomend going on a nice sunny day, as there doesnt seem to be as much there in rubbish weather.
