we arrived for lunch sortly after 2:30 only to be told the pub was to be closed as soon as we had arrived. we were basically descriminated against for riding a motorcycle. we left only to pass the pub an hour later to find the garden still seating drinkers, and the bar very much open. the small minded landlord and landlady were in fact incredibly rude to us on the way out and we can only suggest you steer clear of this pub and support the other bars in the same road (there are 4 in total) we were very welcome at the next pub south.
incedentally the local vicar had seen what had happened and followed us to the second pub to apologise on the villages behalf, she told us "not all of us judge people on the way they may look, im very sorry you were treated that way" a nice gesture on her part only confirming the descrimination we were shown.

Good Points: Very pretty, well kept, good food.
Bad Points: small bedroom.
General Review: Very pleasant place to stay. The staff were helpful and it was possible to make a late dinner booking, which was unplanned. The dinner was good with a fair choice of wines and the dining room was very attractive.
