Good Points: Nice bar, spacious hotel, attractive bathroom, quiet and peaceful stay.
Bad Points: Bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained sanitary products from the room's previous occupant, shower temperamental, floor needed hovering, bulbs missing in some light fittings.
General review: We enjoyed our stay but wished the room had been appropriately cleaned before it was reallocated.

Good Points: Comfortable and clean
Bad Points: Bath room needs to be redesigned. Door jammed against wash hand basin, so you had to push hard to open the bathroom door.
General review: Friendly and helpful, but the meal in the evening was not very good.

Good Points: Friendly efficient staff.
General Review: Good experience. Only one niggle. Breakfast was a little dissapointing. The hot buffet was inadequately stocked. Once prompted though the staff were extremely efficient in restocking and made a point of informing me. I then aproached the buffet only to find that it was imposible to serve yourself as there was nowhere to put the large lids. I observed that none of the other guests had three hands and struggled with the same problem. Breakfast was punctuated by the clatter of lids dropped at regular intervals. This remarkable lack of thought was all that I can criticise, the hotel and staff were terrific and real value for money.

Good Points: The bedroom was clean with good furnishings, comfortable bed and everything worked. At breakfast, staff coped with the request to eat outside very well.
Bad Points: The Breakfast had been kept warm too long. The scrambled egg was poor.
General Review: The hotel was booked because it was close to a function that we were attending. As such, it had everything we wanted. The answer to the question below reflects this.

Good Points: Good facilities including extra touches such as hot chocolate with tea making facilities. Child friendly room. Warm and confortable.
Bad Points: Too dark - not enough natural light.
General Review: We were very impresssed with the weekend offer and the standard of service generally. We would come again and would recommend the hotel for families with young children.

Very good, friendly staff. Good value for money and very suitable for people going to Thorpe Park. I would recommend.

Good sized double room with en-suite and very comfortable.
The hotel was very comfortable, the staff were very helpful and polite
the food and service were excellent.
I booked the room on-line, it made the process of checking in quick and simple.
