Excellent time, staff friendly courteous, atmosphere and ambience just right. The meal was well presnted and very well cooked, wine list extensive for a pub, maybe choice of 35 wines. Local produce and good variety. Bedroom very clean, comfortable and well appointed. But bath towels disappointing, when the bathroom was luxurious, a small hard towel was an unnecessary blight. It needs proper bath sheets. But overall it was so good I'd go back tomorrow despite the towels. Book before too many people hear about it.
