Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at Pennance mill Farm,if you are a family out to send your kids out to do whatever they want then this is the place for you, But if you are a couple without kids then i would suggest you aviod this site, we stayed from Fri to mon and couldnt get away soon enough, althought the owners were friendly and helpfull the site was lacking any rules, campers were shouting across the site at 0230hrs in the morning, the noise carried on way after the recomended 2300hrs, if you get put on the hard standing near the toilets aviod it, its a haven for kids with catapults/water pistols and generally doing what kids do. It felt like we were put on a car park, the bins were overflowing and it was the MOST EXPENSIVE SITE we have stayed on all year £24.50 with an awning per night, all the caravan clubs and C&C sites have been much cheaper.

a lovely family site, been visiting 35 years now, our kids and their kids. 4 from luxembourg, would be devastated if it didn't happen one year.site much improved each year. level, grassey, informal, beutiful surroundings, private walk to beach through the country side with no traffic.real family entertainment put on free by owners Alan and Vanessa,A good site that still maintains a family and farming feel, children love it and parents can really relax. They have their own children and understand what families need to really relax, and have fun.

Small site and not manicured lawns like some people want but it is quiet and clean. I had to drop my van off on thursday and go back and pick up the dive boat and the owners could not be more helpful. From dawn til midnight they are cleaning muddy toilet blocks ,taking the children for tractor rides or putting entertainment on in the barn. I think that we prefer to moan rather than give praise where it is deserved. I will be going back.

A family friendly campsite within easy reach of the beach. There is a bus stop at the campsite gate which can take you to a number of beaches on its route. The campsite is not too large and is always clean and quiet beyond 11:30. Each night the owners organise events such as BBQ, Bingo, Children's Disco, Movie night, Quiz night, Skittles, Folk dance and more. For us this made the holiday as we always knew the children would be entertained. Also each event is free of charge so we saved a small fortune compared to some other commercial entertainment sites. I would visit again and plan to do so this year.

I camped here last year. Showers & toilets are good. 50% of pitches are flat. The office only appears to be open for short times of the day. This year I've tried to book, leaving messages when someone remembers to switch the answer machine on. Otherwise listening to the constant ring of a phone. No one has called me back. I hope that it's still open, but fear that the site isn't a camp site any more. : (

Really friendly family site with great facilities. These were always clean and are easily reached from all areas of the site. Family activities (such as cinema nights and competitions) were run FOC in the evenings which made the site so welcoming. Only downside was that the popularity made the site a little packed. Will definately visit again.

A lovely, relaxed site, managing to cater for both those who like a "wild" feel in the fields, and those who prefer slightly more luxury in the chalets. Pretty surroundings, friendly management, and not far from Maenporth beach.
