Located just a few miles away from St-Austell in Cornwall, the Powderham Castle tourist park makes an ideal base to tour the local attractions including Eden and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The site is in a very quiet and peaceful area only about half a mile off the main road into St Austell. There's a small stream/brook running through the centre of the site, which also features a children's playground area and a pitch-n-putt course.
The recently refurbished amenities block includes toilets, free hot showers, shaver points, hand and hairdryers, a tabletop games room (Table Tennis, pool etc), dish washing, and clothing washing and drying facilities, plus of course drinking water points, chemical disposal and regularly emptied waste bins with different bins for recycling.
Free battery charging, and ice-pack freezer are available, and the site is clean and very well maintained.
If you are looking for an excellent base for touring Cornwall with a tent or caravan Powderham Castle Tourist Park should be top of the list.
