We stayed at Lower Penderleath fo 10 days this year and absolutely loved it. It was a marvellous experience in what I would describe as traditional camping. A very friendly and approachable site owner who was always happy to give us personal attention and even share a beer with us, and give us all the inormation we needed for St Ives and the surroundng areas. To bathe in hor showers supplied with pure minerl water was exceptional. Pleanty of room and not over-commercialised as many sites are today. We had an open fire set up to use allour stay. If you want campin the way it used to be thissite is great.

We paid £31.50 a night for a family of four which we thought was expensive given that the campsite seemed "tired and outdated" and the toilet and shower facilites not very good. There were only 5 ladies toilets which wasn't enough and they were only cleaned once a day. The showers were very unpredictable. The location was lovely but overall the site wasn't worth 4 stars!
