I found the site to be quite, and although the facilities are basic, they are kept clean. There is no noisy club house, or dogs/children running around. The views are spectacular and the location is nice and central, making it a good base for exploring Wales from.
There is the occasional low flying military aircraft, but this is very seldom and really a bother. I enjoyed it so much I'm going back again, in October 2007. they have a long season of 1st March through to 31st October.

A small site in Mid Wales set next to the Main N/S Trunk road (A483) and suffering from road noise and very low flying military aircraft. Nice views over valley to west. Basic toilet and shower (Pay). Sloping site no flat area for tents, shared with a number of static caravans. No dogs, children under 18, no all male groups, no satelite dishes. Outside washing up area
