The holiday was fantastic for us, the site was quiet, caravan was nice inside, its good location if you are looking to go out most days in south devon with a lot of main attractions within 30 minutes drive.
The BAD BITS !!!
The site facilities have a long history of with lack of maintenance and basic cleaning.
The pool was full of sand, leaves and a black mould was growing on the tile grout, cracked and peeling paint everywhere, damaged doors held together with brown tape and drains were full of matted hair. The clubhouse is quite dated looking inside, everything is thick with dust above table height, toilets had well established moss on long running leaks and heavily stained surfaces.
A pint of standard lager is a whopping 3.40 !!!!
Just basic cleaning and maintenance would make this site 10 times better.
Other bad points, the bus to and from town stops at 6pm and if you fancy an evening out in brixham town, there are some lovely restaurants and pubs there but the town is over run by large groups of threatening, abusive feral children.
I saw an old couple threatened in the street by a 10 year old, I was threatened myself as I witnessed a drug deal in the car park and the car park and main bus station is just a large football pitch.
That was all in the "TOURIST AREA"
Dont let it put you off, Brixham was lovely, especially berry head and everyone else was polite and freindly
